وَاِذْ قَالَ مُوسٰى لِقَوْمِهِ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللّٰهِ عَلَیْكُمْ اِذْ اَنْجٰیكُمْ مِنْ اٰلِ فِرْعَوْنَ یَسُومُونَكُمْ سُٓوءَ الْعَذَابِ وَیُذَبِّحُونَ اَبْنَٓاءَكُمْ وَیَسْتَحْیُونَ نِسَٓاءَكُمْؕ وَفٖی ذٰلِكُمْ بَلَٓاءٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ عَظٖیمٌࣖ
Waith qala moosa liqawmihi othkuroo niAAmata Allahi AAalaykum ith anjakum min ali firAAawna yasoomoonakum sooa alAAathabi wayuthabbihoona abnaakum wayastahyoona nisaakum wafee thalikum balaon min rabbikum AAatheemun
Translations
And [recall, O Children of Israel], when Moses said to His people, "Remember the favor of Allah upon you when He saved you from the people of Pharaoh, who were afflicting you with the worst torment and were slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord
Saheeh International
And (remind them) how Moses said unto his people: Remember Allah's favour unto you when He delivered you from Pharaoh's folk who were afflicting you with dreadful torment, and were slaying your sons and sparing your women; that was a tremendous trial from your Lord
