Saheeh Intl

28:2

تِلْكَ اٰیَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْمُبٖینِ

These are the verses of the clear Book

Saheeh Intl

28:3

نَتْلُوا عَلَیْكَ مِنْ نَبَاِ مُوسٰى وَفِرْعَوْنَ بِالْحَقِّ لِقَوْمٍ یُؤْمِنُونَ

We recite to you from the news of Moses and Pharaoh in truth for a people who believe

Saheeh Intl

28:4

اِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ عَلَا فِی الْاَرْضِ وَجَعَلَ اَهْلَهَا شِیَعًا یَسْتَضْعِفُ طَٓائِفَةً مِنْهُمْ یُذَبِّـحُ اَبْنَٓاءَهُمْ وَیَسْتَحْيٖ نِسَٓاءَهُمْؕ اِنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُفْسِدٖینَ

Indeed, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people into factions, oppressing a sector among them, slaughtering their [newborn] sons and keeping their females alive. Indeed, he was of the corrupters

Saheeh Intl

28:5

وَنُرٖیدُ اَنْ نَمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذٖینَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِی الْاَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ اَئِمَّةً وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ الْوَارِثٖینَۙ

And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors
