82:1

اِذَا السَّمَٓاءُ انْفَطَرَتْۙ

When the sky breaks apart

Saheeh Intl

82:2

وَاِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انْتَثَرَتْۙ

And when the stars fall, scattering

Saheeh Intl

82:3

وَاِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْۙ

And when the seas are erupted

Saheeh Intl

82:4

وَاِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْۙ

And when the [contents of] graves are scattered

Saheeh Intl

82:5

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَا قَدَّمَتْ وَاَخَّرَتْؕ

A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back

Saheeh Intl

82:6

یَٓا اَیُّهَا الْاِنْسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرٖیمِۙ

O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous

Saheeh Intl

82:7

اَلَّذٖی خَلَقَكَ فَسَوّٰیكَ فَعَدَلَكَۙ

Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you

Saheeh Intl

82:8

فٖٓی اَیِّ صُورَةٍ مَا شَٓاءَ رَكَّبَكَؕ

In whatever form He willed has He assembled you

Saheeh Intl

82:9

كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدّٖینِۙ

No! But you deny the Recompense

Saheeh Intl

82:10

وَاِنَّ عَلَیْكُمْ لَحَافِظٖینَۙ

And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers

Saheeh Intl

82:11

كِرَامًا كَاتِبٖینَۙ

Noble and recording

Saheeh Intl

82:12

یَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ

They know whatever you do

Saheeh Intl

82:13

اِنَّ الْاَبْرَارَ لَفٖی نَعٖیمٍۚ

Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure

Saheeh Intl

82:14

وَاِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفٖی جَحٖیمٍۚ

And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire

Saheeh Intl

82:15

یَصْلَوْنَهَا یَوْمَ الدّٖینِ

They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense

Saheeh Intl

82:16

وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَٓائِبٖینَؕ

And never therefrom will they be absent

Saheeh Intl

82:17

وَمَٓا اَدْرٰیكَ مَا یَوْمُ الدّٖینِۙ

And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense

Saheeh Intl

82:18

ثُمَّ مَٓا اَدْرٰیكَ مَا یَوْمُ الدّٖینِؕ

Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense

Saheeh Intl

82:19

یَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِنَفْسٍ شَیْـًٔاؕ وَالْاَمْرُ یَوْمَئِذٍ لِلّٰهِ

It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah
