79:1

وَالنَّازِعَاتِ غَرْقًاۙ

By those [angels] who extract with violence

Saheeh Intl

79:2

وَالنَّاشِطَاتِ نَشْطًاۙ

And [by] those who remove with ease

Saheeh Intl

79:3

وَالسَّابِحَاتِ سَبْحًاۙ

And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming

Saheeh Intl

79:4

فَالسَّابِقَاتِ سَبْقًاۙ

And those who race each other in a race

Saheeh Intl

79:5

فَالْمُدَبِّرَاتِ اَمْرًاۘ

And those who arrange [each] matter

Saheeh Intl

79:6

یَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الرَّاجِفَةُۙ

On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation]

Saheeh Intl

79:7

تَتْبَعُهَا الرَّادِفَةُؕ

There will follow it the subsequent [one]

Saheeh Intl

79:8

قُلُوبٌ یَوْمَئِذٍ وَاجِفَةٌۙ

Hearts, that Day, will tremble

Saheeh Intl

79:9

اَبْصَارُهَا خَاشِعَةٌۘ

Their eyes humbled

Saheeh Intl

79:10

یَقُولُونَ ءَاِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِی الْحَافِرَةِؕ

They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]

Saheeh Intl

79:11

ءَاِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا نَخِرَةًؕ

Even if we should be decayed bones

Saheeh Intl

79:12

قَالُوا تِلْكَ اِذًا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌۘ

They say, "That, then, would be a losing return

Saheeh Intl

79:13

فَاِنَّمَا هِیَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌۙ

Indeed, it will be but one shout

Saheeh Intl

79:14

فَاِذَا هُمْ بِالسَّاهِرَةِؕ

And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface
