سَاَلَ سَٓائِلٌ بِعَذَابٍ وَاقِعٍۙ

A supplicant asked for a punishment bound to happen

Saheeh Intl

لِلْكَافِرٖینَ لَیْسَ لَهُ دَافِعٌۙ

To the disbelievers; of it there is no preventer

Saheeh Intl

مِنَ اللّٰهِ ذِی الْمَعَارِجِؕ

[It is] from Allah, owner of the ways of ascent

Saheeh Intl

تَعْرُجُ الْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ اِلَیْهِ فٖی یَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسٖینَ اَلْفَ سَنَةٍۚ

The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years

Saheeh Intl

فَاصْبِرْ صَبْرًا جَمٖیلًا

So be patient with gracious patience

Saheeh Intl

اِنَّهُمْ یَرَوْنَهُ بَعٖیدًاۙ

Indeed, they see it [as] distant

Saheeh Intl

وَنَرٰیهُ قَرٖیبًاؕ

But We see it [as] near

Saheeh Intl

یَوْمَ تَكُونُ السَّمَٓاءُ كَالْمُهْلِۙ

On the Day the sky will be like murky oil

Saheeh Intl

وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِۙ

And the mountains will be like wool

Saheeh Intl

وَلَا یَسْـَٔلُ حَمٖیمٌ حَمٖیمًاۚ

And no friend will ask [anything of] a friend
