87:1

سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْاَعْلٰىۙ

Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High

Saheeh Intl

87:2

اَلَّذٖی خَلَقَ فَسَوّٰىࣕۙ

Who created and proportioned

Saheeh Intl

87:3

وَالَّذٖی قَدَّرَ فَهَدٰىࣕۙ

And who destined and [then] guided

Saheeh Intl

87:4

وَالَّذٖٓی اَخْرَجَ الْمَرْعٰىࣕۙ

And who brings out the pasture

Saheeh Intl

87:5

فَجَعَلَهُ غُثَٓاءً اَحْوٰىؕ

And [then] makes it black stubble

Saheeh Intl

87:6

سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنْسٰىۙ

We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget

Saheeh Intl

87:7

اِلَّا مَا شَٓاءَ اللّٰهُؕ اِنَّهُ یَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ وَمَا یَخْفٰىؕ

Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden

Saheeh Intl

87:8

وَنُیَسِّرُكَ لِلْیُسْرٰىۚ

And We will ease you toward ease

Saheeh Intl

87:9

فَذَكِّرْ اِنْ نَفَعَتِ الذِّكْرٰىؕ

So remind, if the reminder should benefit

Saheeh Intl

87:10

سَیَذَّكَّرُ مَنْ یَخْشٰىۙ

He who fears [Allah] will be reminded

Saheeh Intl

87:11

وَیَتَجَنَّبُهَا الْاَشْقٰىۙ

But the wretched one will avoid it

Saheeh Intl

87:12

اَلَّذٖی یَصْلَى النَّارَ الْكُبْرٰىۚ

[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire

Saheeh Intl

87:13

ثُمَّ لَا یَمُوتُ فٖیهَا وَلَا یَحْیٰىؕ

Neither dying therein nor living

Saheeh Intl

87:14

قَدْ اَفْلَحَ مَنْ تَزَكّٰىۙ

He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself

Saheeh Intl

87:15

وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهٖ فَصَلّٰىؕ

And mentions the name of his Lord and prays

Saheeh Intl

87:16

بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَیٰوةَ الدُّنْیَاؗ

But you prefer the worldly life

Saheeh Intl

87:17

وَالْاٰخِرَةُ خَیْرٌ وَاَبْقٰىؕ

While the Hereafter is better and more enduring

Saheeh Intl

87:18

اِنَّ هٰذَا لَفِی الصُّحُفِ الْاُو𐻿لٰىۙ

Indeed, this is in the former scriptures

87:19

صُحُفِ اِبْرٰهٖیمَ وَمُوسٰى

The scriptures of Abraham and Moses
