36:1

یٰسٓؕ

Ya, Seen

Saheeh Intl

36:2

وَالْقُرْاٰنِ الْحَكٖیمِۙ

By the wise Qur'an

Saheeh Intl

36:3

اِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلٖینَۙ

Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers

Saheeh Intl

36:4

عَلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقٖیمٍؕ

On a straight path

Saheeh Intl

36:5

تَنْزٖیلَ الْعَزٖیزِ الرَّحٖیمِۙ

[This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

Saheeh Intl

36:6

لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَٓا اُنْذِرَ اٰبَٓاؤُ𐻾هُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ

That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware

Saheeh Intl

36:7

لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلٰٓى اَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا یُؤْمِنُونَ

Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe

Saheeh Intl

36:8

اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فٖٓی اَعْنَاقِهِمْ اَغْلَالًا فَهِیَ اِلَى الْاَذْقَانِ فَهُمْ مُقْمَحُونَ

Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft

Saheeh Intl

36:9

وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْ بَیْنِ اَیْدٖیهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَاَغْشَیْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا یُبْصِرُونَ

And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see

Saheeh Intl

36:10

وَسَوَٓاءٌ عَلَیْهِمْ ءَاَنْذَرْتَهُمْ اَمْ لَمْ تُنْذِرْهُمْ لَا یُؤْمِنُونَ

And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe

Saheeh Intl

36:11

اِنَّمَا تُنْذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكْرَ وَخَشِیَ الرَّحْمٰنَ بِالْغَیْبِۚ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَاَجْرٍ كَرٖیمٍ

You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward

Saheeh Intl

36:12

اِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِ الْمَوْتٰى وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا وَاٰثَارَهُمْؕ وَكُلَّ شَیْءٍ اَحْصَیْنَاهُ فٖٓی اِمَامٍ مُبٖینٍࣖ

Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register
