اَفَرَاَیْتَ الَّذٖی كَفَرَ بِاٰیَاتِنَا وَقَالَ لَاُو𐻿تَیَنَّ مَالًا وَوَلَدًاؕ
Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]
Saheeh Intl
19. Maryam
مَرْيَمَ
اَطَّلَعَ الْغَیْبَ اَمِ اتَّخَذَ عِنْدَ الرَّحْمٰنِ عَهْدًاۙ
Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise
Saheeh Intl
كَلَّاؕ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا یَقُولُ وَنَمُدُّ لَهُ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ مَدًّاۙ
No! We will record what he says and extend for him from the punishment extensively
Saheeh Intl
وَنَرِثُهُ مَا یَقُولُ وَیَاْتٖینَا فَرْدًا
And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone
Saheeh Intl
وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ اٰلِهَةً لِیَكُونُوا لَهُمْ عِزًّاۙ
And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor
Saheeh Intl
كَلَّاؕ سَیَكْفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ وَیَكُونُونَ عَلَیْهِمْ ضِدًّاࣖ
No! Those "gods" will deny their worship of them and will be against them opponents [on the Day of Judgement]
Saheeh Intl
اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّٓا اَرْسَلْنَا الشَّیَاطٖینَ عَلَى الْكَافِرٖینَ تَؤُزُّهُمْ اَزًّاۙ
Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement
Saheeh Intl
فَلَا تَعْجَلْ عَلَیْهِمْؕ اِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَهُمْ عَدًّاۚ
So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number
Saheeh Intl
یَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ الْمُتَّقٖینَ اِلَى الرَّحْمٰنِ وَفْدًاۙ
On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation
Saheeh Intl
وَنَسُوقُ الْمُجْرِمٖینَ اِلٰى جَهَنَّمَ وِرْدًاۘ
And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst
Saheeh Intl
لَا یَمْلِكُونَ الشَّفَاعَةَ اِلَّا مَنِ اتَّخَذَ عِنْدَ الرَّحْمٰنِ عَهْدًاۘ
None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant
Saheeh Intl
وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمٰنُ وَلَدًاؕ
And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son
Saheeh Intl
لَقَدْ جِئْتُمْ شَیْـًٔا اِدًّاۙ
You have done an atrocious thing
Saheeh Intl
تَكَادُ السَّمٰوَاتُ یَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنْشَقُّ الْاَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ الْجِبَالُ هَدًّاۙ
The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation
Saheeh Intl
اَنْ دَعَوْا لِلرَّحْمٰنِ وَلَدًاۚ
That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son
Saheeh Intl
وَمَا یَنْبَغٖی لِلرَّحْمٰنِ اَنْ یَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًاؕ
And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son
Saheeh Intl
اِنْ كُلُّ مَنْ فِی السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ اِلَّٓا اٰتِی الرَّحْمٰنِ عَبْدًاؕ
There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant
Saheeh Intl
لَقَدْ اَحْصٰیهُمْ وَعَدَّهُمْ عَدًّاؕ
He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting
Saheeh Intl
وَكُلُّهُمْ اٰتٖیهِ یَوْمَ الْقِیٰمَةِ فَرْدًا
And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone
