وَكَاَیِّنْ مِنْ نَبِیٍّ قَاتَلَۙ مَعَهُ رِبِّیُّونَ كَثٖیرٌۚ فَمَا وَهَنُوا لِمَٓا اَصَابَهُمْ فٖی سَبٖیلِ اللّٰهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوا وَمَا اسْتَكَانُواؕ وَاللّٰهُ یُحِبُّ الصَّابِرٖینَ
Wakaayyin min nabiyyin qatala maAAahu ribbiyyoona katheerun fama wahanoo lima asabahum fee sabeeli Allahi wama daAAufoo wama istakanoo waAllahu yuhibbu alssabireena
Translations
And how many a prophet [fought and] with him fought many religious scholars. But they never lost assurance due to what afflicted them in the cause of Allah, nor did they weaken or submit. And Allah loves the steadfast
Saheeh International
And with how many a prophet have there been a number of devoted men who fought (beside him). They quailed not for aught that befell them in the way of Allah, nor did they weaken, nor were they brought low. Allah loveth the steadfast
