مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ
[They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other
Saheeh Intl
37. As-Saffat
الصَّاۤفَّاتِ
بَلْ هُمُ الْیَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ
But they, that Day, are in surrender
Saheeh Intl
وَاَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍ یَتَسَٓاءَلُونَ
And they will approach one another blaming each other
Saheeh Intl
قَالُٓوا اِنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَاْتُونَنَا عَنِ الْیَمٖینِ
They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right
Saheeh Intl
قَالُوا بَلْ لَمْ تَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنٖینَۚ
The oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers
Saheeh Intl
وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَیْكُمْ مِنْ سُلْطَانٍۚ بَلْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا طَاغٖینَ
And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people
Saheeh Intl
فَحَقَّ عَلَیْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَاࣗ اِنَّا لَذَٓائِقُونَ
So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]
Saheeh Intl
فَاَغْوَیْنَا‌كُمْ اِنَّا كُنَّا غَاوٖینَ
And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators
Saheeh Intl
فَاِنَّهُمْ یَوْمَئِذٍ فِی الْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ
So indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment
Saheeh Intl
اِنَّا كَذٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمٖینَ
Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals
Saheeh Intl
اِنَّهُمْ كَانُٓوا اِذَا قٖیلَ لَهُمْ لَٓا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ یَسْتَكْبِرُونَۙ
Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant
Saheeh Intl
وَیَقُولُونَ اَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُٓوا اٰلِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍ مَجْنُونٍؕ
And were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet
Saheeh Intl
بَلْ جَٓاءَ بِالْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ الْمُرْسَلٖینَ
Rather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers
Saheeh Intl
اِنَّكُمْ لَذَٓائِقُوا الْعَذَابِ الْاَلٖیمِۚ
Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment
Saheeh Intl
وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ اِلَّا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَۙ
And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do
Saheeh Intl
اِلَّا عِبَادَ اللّٰهِ الْمُخْلَصٖینَ
But not the chosen servants of Allah
Saheeh Intl
اُو𐻾لٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌ مَعْلُومٌۙ
Those will have a provision determined
Saheeh Intl
فَوَا‌كِهُۚ وَهُمْ مُكْرَمُونَۙ
Fruits; and they will be honored
Saheeh Intl
فٖی جَنَّاتِ النَّعٖیمِۙ
In gardens of pleasure
Saheeh Intl
عَلٰى سُرُرٍ مُتَقَابِلٖینَ
On thrones facing one another
Saheeh Intl
یُطَافُ عَلَیْهِمْ بِكَاْسٍ مِنْ مَعٖینٍۙ
There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring
Saheeh Intl
بَیْضَٓاءَ لَذَّةٍ لِلشَّارِبٖینَۚ
White and delicious to the drinkers
Saheeh Intl
لَا فٖیهَا غَوْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا یُنْزَفُونَ
No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated
Saheeh Intl
وَعِنْدَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ عٖینٌۙ
And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes
Saheeh Intl
كَاَنَّهُنَّ بَیْضٌ مَكْنُونٌ
As if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected
Saheeh Intl
فَاَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍ یَتَسَٓاءَلُونَ
And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other
Saheeh Intl
قَالَ قَٓائِلٌ مِنْهُمْ اِنّٖی كَانَ لٖی قَرٖینٌۙ
A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth]
Saheeh Intl
