4:144
یَٓا اَیُّهَا الَّذٖینَ اٰمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْكَافِرٖینَ اَوْلِیَٓاءَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنٖینَؕ اَتُرٖیدُونَ اَنْ تَجْعَلُوا لِلّٰهِ عَلَیْكُمْ سُلْطَانًا مُبٖینًا
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo alkafireena awliyaa min dooni almumineena atureedoona an tajAAaloo lillahi AAalaykum sultanan mubeenan
Translations
O you who have believed, do not take the disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do you wish to give Allah against yourselves a clear case
Saheeh International
O ye who believe! Choose not disbelievers for (your) friends in place of believers. Would ye give Allah a clear warrant against you
