فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ سَلَفًا وَمَثَلًا لِلْاٰخِرٖینَࣖ
FajaAAalnahum salafan wamathalan lilakhireena
Translations
And We made them a precedent and an example for the later peoples

And We made them a thing past, and an example for those after (them)
