44:17
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَٓاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ كَرٖیمٌۙ
Walaqad fatanna qablahum qawma firAAawna wajaahum rasoolun kareemun
Translations
And We had already tried before them the people of Pharaoh, and there came to them a noble messenger

And verily We tried before them Pharaoh's folk, when there came unto them a noble messenger
