ذٰلِكُمْ بِاَنَّكُمُ اتَّخَذْتُمْ اٰیَاتِ اللّٰهِ هُزُوًا وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الْحَیٰوةُ الدُّنْیَاۚ فَالْیَوْمَ لَا یُخْرَجُونَ مِنْهَا وَلَا هُمْ یُسْتَعْتَبُونَ
Thalikum biannakumu ittakhathtum ayati Allahi huzuwan wagharratkumu alhayatu alddunya faalyawma la yukhrajoona minha wala hum yustaAAtaboona
Translations
That is because you took the verses of Allah in ridicule, and worldly life deluded you." So that Day they will not be removed from it, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah]
Saheeh International
This, forasmuch as ye made the revelations of Allah a jest, and the life of the world beguiled you. Therefor this day they come not forth from thence, nor can they make amends
