یَٓا اَیُّهَا الَّذٖینَ اٰمَنُوا لَا تَسْـَٔلُوا عَنْ اَشْیَٓاءَ اِنْ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْۚ وَاِنْ تَسْـَٔلُوا عَنْهَا حٖینَ یُنَزَّلُ الْقُرْاٰنُ تُبْدَ لَكُمْؕ عَفَا اللّٰهُ عَنْهَاؕ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُورٌ حَلٖیمٌ
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tasaloo AAan ashyaa in tubda lakum tasukum wain tasaloo AAanha heena yunazzalu alquranu tubda lakum AAafa Allahu AAanha waAllahu ghafoorun haleemun
Translations
O you who have believed, do not ask about things which, if they are shown to you, will distress you. But if you ask about them while the Qur'an is being revealed, they will be shown to you. Allah has pardoned that which is past; and Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing
Saheeh International
O ye who believe! Ask not of things which, if they were made unto you, would trouble you; but if ye ask of them when the Qur'an is being revealed, they will be made known unto you. Allah pardoneth this, for Allah is Forgiving, Clement
