وَكَتَبْنَا عَلَیْهِمْ فٖیهَٓا اَنَّ النَّفْسَ بِالنَّفْسِۙ وَالْعَیْنَ بِالْعَیْنِ وَالْاَنْفَ بِالْاَنْفِ وَالْاُذُنَ بِالْاُذُنِ وَالسِّنَّ بِالسِّنِّۙ وَالْجُرُوحَ قِصَاصٌؕ فَمَنْ تَصَدَّقَ بِهٖ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لَهُؕ وَمَنْ لَمْ یَحْكُمْ بِمَٓا اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ فَاُو𐻾لٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ
Wakatabna AAalayhim feeha anna alnnafsa bialnnafsi waalAAayna bialAAayni waalanfa bialanfi waalothuna bialothuni waalssinna bialssinni waaljurooha qisasun faman tasaddaqa bihi fahuwa kaffaratun lahu waman lam yahkum bima anzala Allahu faolaika humu alththalimoona
Translations
And We ordained for them therein a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and for wounds is legal retribution. But whoever gives [up his right as] charity, it is an expiation for him. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the wrongdoers
Saheeh International
And We prescribed for them therein: The life for the life, and the eye for the eye, and the nose for the nose, and the ear for the ear, and the tooth for the tooth, and for wounds retaliation. But whoso forgoeth it (in the way of charity) it shall be expiation for him. Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath revealed: such are wrong-doers
