یَطُوفُ عَلَیْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُخَلَّدُونَۙ
There will circulate among them young boys made eternal
Saheeh Intl
56. Al-Waqi'ah
الْوَاقِعَةِ
بِاَكْوَابٍ وَاَبَارٖیقَ وَكَاْسٍ مِنْ مَعٖینٍۙ
With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring
Saheeh Intl
لَا یُصَدَّعُونَ عَنْهَا وَلَا یُنْزِفُونَۙ
No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated
Saheeh Intl
وَفَاكِهَةٍ مِمَّا یَتَخَیَّرُونَۙ
And fruit of what they select
Saheeh Intl
وَلَحْمِ طَیْرٍ مِمَّا یَشْتَهُونَؕ
And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire
Saheeh Intl
وَحُورٌ عٖینٌۙ
And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes
Saheeh Intl
كَاَمْثَالِ اللُّؤْلُؤِ𐻾 الْمَكْنُونِۚ
The likenesses of pearls well-protected
Saheeh Intl
جَزَٓاءً بِمَا كَانُوا یَعْمَلُونَ
As reward for what they used to do
Saheeh Intl
لَا یَسْمَعُونَ فٖیهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا تَاْثٖیمًاۙ
They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin
Saheeh Intl
اِلَّا قٖیلًا سَلَامًا سَلَامًا
Only a saying: "Peace, peace
Saheeh Intl
وَاَصْحَابُ الْیَمٖینِ مَٓا اَصْحَابُ الْیَمٖینِؕ
The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right
Saheeh Intl
فٖی سِدْرٍ مَخْضُودٍۙ
[They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed
Saheeh Intl
وَطَلْحٍ مَنْضُودٍۙ
And [banana] trees layered [with fruit]
Saheeh Intl
وَظِلٍّ مَمْدُودٍۙ
And shade extended
Saheeh Intl
وَمَٓاءٍ مَسْكُوبٍۙ
And water poured out
Saheeh Intl
وَفَاكِهَةٍ كَثٖیرَةٍۙ
And fruit, abundant [and varied]
Saheeh Intl
لَا مَقْطُوعَةٍ وَلَا مَمْنُوعَةٍۙ
Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden
Saheeh Intl
وَفُرُشٍ مَرْفُوعَةٍؕ
And [upon] beds raised high
Saheeh Intl
اِنَّٓا اَنْشَاْنَاهُنَّ اِنْشَٓاءًۙ
Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation
Saheeh Intl
فَجَعَلْنَاهُنَّ اَبْكَارًاۙ
And made them virgins
Saheeh Intl
عُرُبًا اَتْرَابًاۙ
Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age
Saheeh Intl
لِاَصْحَابِ الْیَمٖینِؕࣖ
For the companions of the right [who are]
Saheeh Intl
ثُلَّةٌ مِنَ الْاَوَّلٖینَۙ
A company of the former peoples
Saheeh Intl
وَثُلَّةٌ مِنَ الْاٰخِرٖینَؕ
And a company of the later peoples
Saheeh Intl
وَاَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِۙ مَٓا اَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِؕ
And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left
Saheeh Intl
فٖی سَمُومٍ وَحَمٖیمٍۙ
[They will be] in scorching fire and scalding water
Saheeh Intl
وَظِلٍّ مِنْ یَحْمُومٍۙ
And a shade of black smoke
Saheeh Intl
لَا بَارِدٍ وَلَا كَرٖیمٍ
Neither cool nor beneficial
Saheeh Intl
اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَبْلَ ذٰلِكَ مُتْرَفٖینَۚ
Indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence
Saheeh Intl
وَكَانُوا یُصِرُّونَ عَلَى الْحِنْثِ الْعَظٖیمِۚ
And they used to persist in the great violation
Saheeh Intl
وَكَانُوا یَقُولُونَ اَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا ءَاِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَۙ
And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected
Saheeh Intl
اَوَاٰبَٓاؤُ𐻾نَا الْاَوَّلُونَ
And our forefathers [as well]
Saheeh Intl
قُلْ اِنَّ الْاَوَّلٖینَ وَالْاٰخِرٖینَۙ
Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, the former and the later peoples
Saheeh Intl
لَمَجْمُوعُونَ اِلٰى مٖیقَاتِ یَوْمٍ مَعْلُومٍ
Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day
Saheeh Intl
