اِنَّهُ لَقُرْاٰنٌ كَرٖیمٌۙ
Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an
Saheeh Intl
56. Al-Waqi'ah
الْوَاقِعَةِ
فٖی كِتَابٍ مَكْنُونٍۙ
In a Register well-protected
Saheeh Intl
لَا یَمَسُّهُٓ اِلَّا الْمُطَهَّرُونَؕ
None touch it except the purified
Saheeh Intl
تَنْزٖیلٌ مِنْ رَبِّ الْعَالَمٖینَ
[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds
Saheeh Intl
اَفَبِهٰذَا الْحَدٖیثِ اَنْتُمْ مُدْهِنُونَۙ
Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent
Saheeh Intl
وَتَجْعَلُونَ رِزْقَكُمْ اَنَّكُمْ تُكَذِّبُونَ
And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]
Saheeh Intl
فَلَوْلَٓا اِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْحُلْقُومَۙ
Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat
Saheeh Intl
وَاَنْتُمْ حٖینَئِذٍ تَنْظُرُونَۙ
And you are at that time looking on
Saheeh Intl
وَنَحْنُ اَقْرَبُ اِلَیْهِ مِنْكُمْ وَلٰكِنْ لَا تُبْصِرُونَ
And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see
Saheeh Intl
فَلَوْلَٓا اِنْ كُنْتُمْ غَیْرَ مَدٖینٖینَۙ
Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed
Saheeh Intl
تَرْجِعُونَهَٓا اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقٖینَ
Bring it back, if you should be truthful
Saheeh Intl
فَاَمَّٓا اِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُقَرَّبٖینَۙ
And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah
Saheeh Intl
فَرَوْحٌ وَرَیْحَانٌ وَجَنَّتُ نَعٖیمٍ
Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure
Saheeh Intl
وَاَمَّٓا اِنْ كَانَ مِنْ اَصْحَابِ الْیَمٖینِۙ
And if he was of the companions of the right
Saheeh Intl
فَسَلَامٌ لَكَ مِنْ اَصْحَابِ الْیَمٖینِ
Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right
Saheeh Intl
وَاَمَّٓا اِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُكَذِّبٖینَ الضَّٓالّٖینَۙ
But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray
Saheeh Intl
فَنُزُلٌ مِنْ حَمٖیمٍۙ
Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water
Saheeh Intl
وَتَصْلِیَةُ جَحٖیمٍۙ
And burning in Hellfire
Saheeh Intl
اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ الْیَقٖینِۚ
Indeed, this is the true certainty
Saheeh Intl
فَسَبِّـحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظٖیمِ
So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great
