یُبَصَّرُونَهُمْؕ یَوَدُّ الْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ یَفْتَدٖی مِنْ عَذَابِ یَوْمِئِذٍ بِبَنٖیهِۙ
They will be shown each other. The criminal will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children
Saheeh Intl
70. Al-Ma'arij
الْمَعَارِجِ
وَصَاحِبَتِهٖ وَاَخٖیهِۙ
And his wife and his brother
Saheeh Intl
وَفَصٖیلَتِهِ الَّتٖی تُــْٔوٖیهِۙ
And his nearest kindred who shelter him
Saheeh Intl
وَمَنْ فِی الْاَرْضِ جَمٖیعًاۙ ثُمَّ یُنْجٖیهِۙ
And whoever is on earth entirely [so] then it could save him
Saheeh Intl
كَلَّاؕ اِنَّهَا لَظٰىۙ
No! Indeed, it is the Flame [of Hell]
Saheeh Intl
نَزَّاعَةً لِلشَّوٰىۚ
A remover of exteriors
Saheeh Intl
تَدْعُوا مَنْ اَدْبَرَ وَتَوَلّٰىۙ
It invites he who turned his back [on truth] and went away [from obedience]
Saheeh Intl
وَجَمَعَ فَاَوْعٰى
And collected [wealth] and hoarded
Saheeh Intl
اِنَّ الْاِنْسَانَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًاۙ
Indeed, mankind was created anxious
Saheeh Intl
اِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ جَزُوعًاۙ
When evil touches him, impatient
Saheeh Intl
وَاِذَا مَسَّهُ الْخَیْرُ مَنُوعًاۙ
And when good touches him, withholding [of it]
Saheeh Intl
اِلَّا الْمُصَلّٖینَۙ
Except the observers of prayer
Saheeh Intl
اَلَّذٖینَ هُمْ عَلٰى صَلَاتِهِمْ دَٓائِمُونَࣕ
Those who are constant in their prayer
Saheeh Intl
وَالَّذٖینَ فٖٓی اَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَعْلُومٌۙ
And those within whose wealth is a known right
Saheeh Intl
لِلسَّٓائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِࣕ
For the petitioner and the deprived
Saheeh Intl
وَالَّذٖینَ یُصَدِّقُونَ بِیَوْمِ الدّٖینِࣕ
And those who believe in the Day of Recompense
Saheeh Intl
وَالَّذٖینَ هُمْ مِنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِمْ مُشْفِقُونَۚ
And those who are fearful of the punishment of their Lord
Saheeh Intl
اِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمْ غَیْرُ مَاْمُونٍۚ
Indeed, the punishment of their Lord is not that from which one is safe
Saheeh Intl
وَالَّذٖینَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَۙ
And those who guard their private parts
Saheeh Intl
اِلَّا عَلٰٓى اَزْوَاجِهِمْ اَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ اَیْمَانُهُمْ فَاِنَّهُمْ غَیْرُ مَلُومٖینَۚ
Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they are not to be blamed
Saheeh Intl
فَمَنِ ابْتَغٰى وَرَٓاءَ ذٰلِكَ فَاُو𐻾لٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَۚ
But whoever seeks beyond that, then they are the transgressors
Saheeh Intl
وَالَّذٖینَ هُمْ لِاَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَࣕ
And those who are to their trusts and promises attentive
Saheeh Intl
وَالَّذٖینَ هُمْ بِشَهَادَاتِهِمْ قَٓائِمُونَࣕ
And those who are in their testimonies upright
Saheeh Intl
وَالَّذٖینَ هُمْ عَلٰى صَلَاتِهِمْ یُحَافِظُونَؕ
And those who [carefully] maintain their prayer
Saheeh Intl
اُو𐻾لٰٓئِكَ فٖی جَنَّاتٍ مُكْرَمُونَؕࣖ
They will be in gardens, honored
Saheeh Intl
فَمَالِ الَّذٖینَ كَفَرُوا قِبَلَكَ مُهْطِعٖینَۙ
So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad]
Saheeh Intl
عَنِ الْیَمٖینِۙ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ عِزٖینَ
[To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups
Saheeh Intl
اَیَطْمَعُ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ اَنْ یُدْخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعٖیمٍۙ
Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure
Saheeh Intl
كَلَّاؕ اِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُمْ مِمَّا یَعْلَمُونَ
No! Indeed, We have created them from that which they know
