وَاَنَا اخْتَرْتُكَ فَاسْتَمِـعْ لِمَا یُوحٰى
And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you]
Saheeh Intl
20. Taha
طٰهٰ
اِنَّنٖٓی اَنَا اللّٰهُ لَٓا اِلٰهَ اِلَّٓا اَنَا𐻾 فَاعْبُدْنٖیۙ وَاَقِمِ الصَّلٰوةَ لِذِكْرٖی
Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance
Saheeh Intl
اِنَّ السَّاعَةَ اٰتِیَةٌ اَكَادُ اُخْفٖیهَا لِتُجْزٰى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا تَسْعٰى
Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives
Saheeh Intl
فَلَا یَصُدَّنَّكَ عَنْهَا مَنْ لَا یُؤْمِنُ بِهَا وَاتَّبَعَ هَوٰیهُ فَتَرْدٰى
So do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his desire, for you [then] would perish
Saheeh Intl
وَمَا تِلْكَ بِیَمٖینِكَ یَا مُوسٰى
And what is that in your right hand, O Moses
Saheeh Intl
قَالَ هِیَ عَصَایَۚ اَتَوَكَّـؤُ𐻾ا عَلَیْهَا وَاَهُشُّ بِهَا عَلٰى غَنَمٖی وَلِیَ فٖیهَا مَاٰرِبُ اُخْرٰى
He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses
Saheeh Intl
قَالَ اَلْقِهَا یَا مُوسٰى
[Allah] said, "Throw it down, O Moses
Saheeh Intl
فَاَلْقٰیهَا فَاِذَا هِیَ حَیَّةٌ تَسْعٰى
So he threw it down, and thereupon it was a snake, moving swiftly
Saheeh Intl
قَالَ خُذْهَا وَلَا تَخَفْࣞ سَنُعٖیدُهَا سٖیرَتَهَا الْاُو𐻿لٰى
[Allah] said, "Seize it and fear not; We will return it to its former condition
Saheeh Intl
وَاضْمُمْ یَدَكَ اِلٰى جَنَاحِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَیْضَٓاءَ مِنْ غَیْرِ سُٓوءٍ اٰیَةً اُخْرٰىۙ
And draw in your hand to your side; it will come out white without disease - another sign
Saheeh Intl
لِنُرِیَكَ مِنْ اٰیَاتِنَا الْكُبْرٰىۚ
That We may show you [some] of Our greater signs
Saheeh Intl
اِذْهَبْ اِلٰى فِرْعَوْنَ اِنَّهُ طَغٰىࣖ
Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed
Saheeh Intl
قَالَ رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لٖی صَدْرٖیۙ
[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance]
Saheeh Intl
وَیَسِّرْ لٖٓی اَمْرٖیۙ
And ease for me my task
Saheeh Intl
وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانٖیۙ
And untie the knot from my tongue
Saheeh Intl
یَفْقَهُوا قَوْلٖیࣕ
That they may understand my speech
Saheeh Intl
وَاجْعَلْ لٖی وَزٖیرًا مِنْ اَهْلٖیۙ
And appoint for me a minister from my family
Saheeh Intl
هٰرُونَ اَخٖیۚ
Aaron, my brother
Saheeh Intl
اُشْدُدْ بِهٖٓ اَزْرٖیۙ
Increase through him my strength
Saheeh Intl
وَاَشْرِكْهُ فٖٓی اَمْرٖیۙ
And let him share my task
Saheeh Intl
كَیْ نُسَبِّحَكَ كَثٖیرًاۙ
That we may exalt You much
Saheeh Intl
وَنَذْكُرَكَ كَثٖیرًاؕ
And remember You much
Saheeh Intl
اِنَّكَ كُنْتَ بِنَا بَصٖیرًا
Indeed, You are of us ever Seeing
Saheeh Intl
قَالَ قَدْ اُو𐻿تٖیتَ سُؤْلَكَ یَا مُوسٰى
[Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses
Saheeh Intl
وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَیْكَ مَرَّةً اُخْرٰىۙ
And We had already conferred favor upon you another time
Saheeh Intl
