مَٓا اَغْنٰى عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا یُمَتَّعُونَؕ
They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided
Saheeh Intl
26. Ash-Shu'ara
الشُّعَرَاءِ
وَمَٓا اَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَرْیَةٍ اِلَّا لَهَا مُنْذِرُونَࣗۛ
And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners
Saheeh Intl
ذِكْرٰىࣞۛ وَمَا كُنَّا ظَالِمٖینَ
As a reminder; and never have We been unjust
Saheeh Intl
وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ الشَّیَاطٖینُ
And the devils have not brought the revelation down
Saheeh Intl
وَمَا یَنْبَغٖی لَهُمْ وَمَا یَسْتَطٖیعُونَؕ
It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able
Saheeh Intl
اِنَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّمْعِ لَمَعْزُولُونَؕ
Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed
Saheeh Intl
فَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُعَذَّبٖینَۚ
So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished
Saheeh Intl
وَاَنْذِرْ عَشٖیرَتَكَ الْاَقْرَبٖینَۙ
And warn, [O Muhammad], your closest kindred
Saheeh Intl
وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنٖینَۚ
And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers
Saheeh Intl
فَاِنْ عَصَوْكَ فَقُلْ اِنّٖی بَرٖٓیءٌ مِمَّا تَعْمَلُونَۚ
And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing
Saheeh Intl
وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْعَزٖیزِ الرَّحٖیمِۙ
And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful
Saheeh Intl
اَلَّذٖی یَرٰیكَ حٖینَ تَقُومُۙ
Who sees you when you arise
Saheeh Intl
وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِی السَّاجِدٖینَ
And your movement among those who prostrate
Saheeh Intl
اِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمٖیعُ الْعَلٖیمُ
Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing
Saheeh Intl
هَلْ اُنَبِّئُكُمْ عَلٰى مَنْ تَنَزَّلُ الشَّیَاطٖینُؕ
Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend
Saheeh Intl
تَنَزَّلُ عَلٰى كُلِّ اَفَّاكٍ اَثٖیمٍۙ
They descend upon every sinful liar
Saheeh Intl
یُلْقُونَ السَّمْعَ وَاَكْثَرُهُمْ كَاذِبُونَؕ
They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars
Saheeh Intl
وَالشُّعَرَٓاءُ یَتَّبِعُهُمُ الْغَاوُ𐻿نَؕ
And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them
Saheeh Intl
اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّهُمْ فٖی كُلِّ وَادٍ یَهٖیمُونَۙ
Do you not see that in every valley they roam
Saheeh Intl
وَاَنَّهُمْ یَقُولُونَ مَا لَا یَفْعَلُونَۙ
And that they say what they do not do
Saheeh Intl
اِلَّا الَّذٖینَ اٰمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَذَكَرُوا اللّٰهَ كَثٖیرًا وَانْتَصَرُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُواؕ وَسَیَعْلَمُ الَّذٖینَ ظَلَمُٓوا اَیَّ مُنْقَلَبٍ یَنْقَلِبُونَ
Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned
