53:45

وَاَنَّهُ خَلَقَ الزَّوْجَیْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالْاُنْثٰىۙ

And that He creates the two mates - the male and female

Saheeh Intl

53:46

مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ اِذَا تُمْنٰىࣕ

From a sperm-drop when it is emitted

Saheeh Intl

53:47

وَاَنَّ عَلَیْهِ النَّشْاَةَ الْاُخْرٰىۙ

And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation

Saheeh Intl

53:48

وَاَنَّهُ هُوَ اَغْنٰى وَاَقْنٰىۙ

And that it is He who enriches and suffices

Saheeh Intl

53:49

وَاَنَّهُ هُوَ رَبُّ الشِّعْرٰىۙ

And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius

Saheeh Intl

53:50

وَاَنَّهُٓ اَهْلَكَ عَادًاࣙ الْاُو𐻿لٰىۙ

And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad

Saheeh Intl

53:51

وَثَمُودَا𐻾 فَمَٓا اَبْقٰىۙ

And Thamud - and He did not spare [them]

Saheeh Intl

53:52

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِنْ قَبْلُؕ اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا هُمْ اَظْلَمَ وَاَطْغٰىؕ

And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing

Saheeh Intl

53:53

وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ اَهْوٰىۙ

And the overturned towns He hurled down

Saheeh Intl

53:54

فَغَشّٰیهَا مَا غَشّٰىۚ

And covered them by that which He covered

Saheeh Intl

53:55

فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَٓاءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارٰى

Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt

Saheeh Intl

53:56

هٰذَا نَذٖیرٌ مِنَ النُّذُرِ الْاُو𐻿لٰى

This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners

Saheeh Intl

53:57

اَزِفَتِ الْاٰزِفَةُۚ

The Approaching Day has approached

Saheeh Intl

53:58

لَیْسَ لَهَا مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ كَاشِفَةٌ

Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover

Saheeh Intl

53:59

اَفَمِنْ هٰذَا الْحَدٖیثِ تَعْجَبُونَۙ

Then at this statement do you wonder

Saheeh Intl

53:60

وَتَضْحَكُونَ وَلَا تَبْكُونَۙ

And you laugh and do not weep

Saheeh Intl

53:61

وَاَنْتُمْ سَامِدُونَ

While you are proudly sporting

Saheeh Intl

53:62

فَاسْجُدُوا لِلّٰهِ وَاعْبُدُوا

So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]
