وَاجْعَلْ لٖی لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِی الْاٰخِرٖینَۙ
And grant me a reputation of honor among later generations
Saheeh Intl
26. Ash-Shu'ara
الشُّعَرَاءِ
وَاجْعَلْنٖی مِنْ وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعٖیمِۙ
And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure
Saheeh Intl
وَاغْفِرْ لِاَبٖٓی اِنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الضَّٓالّٖینَۙ
And forgive my father. Indeed, he has been of those astray
Saheeh Intl
وَلَا تُخْزِنٖی یَوْمَ یُبْعَثُونَۙ
And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected
Saheeh Intl
یَوْمَ لَا یَنْفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَۙ
The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children
Saheeh Intl
اِلَّا مَنْ اَتَى اللّٰهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلٖیمٍؕ
But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart
Saheeh Intl
وَاُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقٖینَۙ
And Paradise will be brought near [that Day] to the righteous
Saheeh Intl
وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحٖیمُ لِلْغَاوٖینَۙ
And Hellfire will be brought forth for the deviators
Saheeh Intl
وَقٖیلَ لَهُمْ اَیْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَۙ
And it will be said to them, "Where are those you used to worship
Saheeh Intl
مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِؕ هَلْ یَنْصُرُونَكُمْ اَوْ یَنْتَصِرُونَؕ
Other than Allah? Can they help you or help themselves
Saheeh Intl
فَكُبْكِبُوا فٖیهَا هُمْ وَالْغَاوُ𐻿نَۙ
So they will be overturned into Hellfire, they and the deviators
Saheeh Intl
وَجُنُودُ اِبْلٖیسَ اَجْمَعُونَؕ
And the soldiers of Iblees, all together
Saheeh Intl
قَالُوا وَهُمْ فٖیهَا یَخْتَصِمُونَۙ
They will say while they dispute therein
Saheeh Intl
تَاللّٰهِ اِنْ كُنَّا لَفٖی ضَلَالٍ مُبٖینٍۙ
By Allah, we were indeed in manifest error
Saheeh Intl
اِذْ نُسَوّٖیكُمْ بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمٖینَ
When we equated you with the Lord of the worlds
Saheeh Intl
وَمَٓا اَضَلَّنَٓا اِلَّا الْمُجْرِمُونَ
And no one misguided us except the criminals
Saheeh Intl
فَمَا لَنَا مِنْ شَافِعٖینَۙ
So now we have no intercessors
Saheeh Intl
وَلَا صَدٖیقٍ حَمٖیمٍ
And not a devoted friend
Saheeh Intl
فَلَوْ اَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنٖینَ
Then if we only had a return [to the world] and could be of the believers
Saheeh Intl
اِنَّ فٖی ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیَةًؕ وَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنٖینَ
Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers
Saheeh Intl
وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزٖیزُ الرَّحٖیمُࣖ
And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful
Saheeh Intl
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍࣙ الْمُرْسَلٖینَۚ
The people of Noah denied the messengers
Saheeh Intl
اِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ اَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُونَۚ
When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah
Saheeh Intl
اِنّٖی لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ اَمٖینٌۙ
Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger
Saheeh Intl
فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطٖیعُونِۚ
So fear Allah and obey me
Saheeh Intl
وَمَٓا اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَیْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍۚ اِنْ اَجْرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّ الْعَالَمٖینَۚ
And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds
Saheeh Intl
فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطٖیعُونِؕ
So fear Allah and obey me
Saheeh Intl
قَالُٓوا اَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَاتَّبَعَكَ الْاَرْذَلُونَؕ
They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]
